Hello.

I am glad you are here.

This is a brief introduction to what we will cover in our first session together.

My name is Chadwick.

I live in a small town in Michigan called White Cloud.

I have been teaching on iTalki since December of 2018.

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures.

I look forward to getting to know you.

I start each of my students off with two basic tools.

We may use them during our session, or we may not.

It really depends on what the conversation needs.

The first tool that I give my students is a giant book of verbs.

The second tool that I give my students is a resource for pronunciation.

The third tool for our sessions depends on what you need to talk about.

It doesn't really matter to me what we talk about.

I ask my students to come to our sessions prepared to lead me in a conversation for 15 minutes or so.

It can be about anything.

While we are talking, you will see me taking notes.

I am outlining our conversation and making notes on areas that need improvement.

• This is another way to say it.
• I am looking for patterns in your grammar and pronunciation that need tweaking.

The most important thing is that we talk about topics that are important and relevant... to you.

As we continue to work together, our relationship will evolve.

You will grow confident, and find your voice.
